Update 05/03/2023: The beekeeper informed us that he had closed his horse chestnut apiary. Unfortunately, the harvest quantities in recent years have been too small. In addition, high-quality single-variety honey can no longer be produced, because honey bees fly to alternative sources of food due to climate change and changed growing seasons. The beekeeper still has a remaining item from previous years that we can offer exclusively. This honey has already been removed from his homepage. If you want to taste the horse chestnut again, you have to order now.

Organic quality horse chestnut honey from Vienna. The bees are in a privileged location in the Prater , near the Freudenau . It is the area in Austria with the highest density of chestnut trees and the quality of the honey is correspondingly high. In contrast to sweet chestnuts, this horse chestnut honey is sweet, not bitter and has no tart notes. For this reason, it is ideal as table and breakfast honey for the whole family.

250 g organic horse chestnut honey á 8.90 EUR; Basic price 1 kg = 35.60 EUR
