We received mail from the bienothek in the Mühlviertel. The master beekeeper has informed us that he will be producing his famous organic Christmas honey again in 2023.
The original Christmas honey is a special limited edition that is only available before Christmas. All jars are filled by hand and the beekeeper only uses his own, local organic honey from the Mühlviertel in Upper Austria. What's special about this edition is the metallic effect of the labels, as they glitter and sparkle metallically and are pretty to look at. The metallic shine also comes into its own in candlelight. Some customers liked the glittering honey jars so much that they simply hung them on the Christmas tree.
The round honey jars with the metallic shine are perfect Christmas gifts for the family, but also for employee gifts in companies, as client gifts for freelancers and for the popular angel-boy game among colleagues.
The beekeeper will prepare the following types of honey (175 g each):
- Christmas honey with forest blossom honey (pure)
- creamy Christmas honey with vanilla
- creamy Christmas honey with ginger
- creamy Christmas honey with walnuts
- creamy Christmas honey with gingerbread spice
- creamy Christmas honey with cinnamon
- creamy Christmas honey with cardamom
We now offer the opportunity to pre-order Christmas honey. The staggered prices are interesting, because there is a big discount on the selling price for orders of just 10 pieces. For large customers there is a further price reduction starting from 50 pieces. You can order any combination of the different Christkindl variants (3 of these, 4 of these and 3 of these).
The beekeeper told us that he would need 2-3 weeks lead time for bottling and labeling. This means that we can expect delivery in November at the earliest. As soon as the goods have arrived at our premises, we will inform customers.
It is now the eighth time in a row that Welthonig has been able to offer Christmas honey in Vienna. Customers have been enjoying this great, regional organic product every year since 2016!
