Lorber Hof

In this product category you will find our products from Lorber Hof, the Lorber family estate in southern Styria. The farmer practices regenerative agriculture using techniques he has learned from Native Americans, among others. In this farming method, corn, beans and pumpkin are cultivated together in one field. The corn serves as a climbing pole for the beans and the beans bring nitrogen into the soil and the pumpkin serves as ground cover to suppress weeds. Between crop rotations, the soil is fertilized with bee pasture. This also pleases the numerous honey bees and insects at Lorber Hof.
