The post office has published its acceptance and shipping deadlines for Christmas.
Please note that letters and parcels must arrive at the post office on time so that they can be delivered before Christmas. In addition, there is a risk that there may be employee absences due to COVID, which could unexpectedly extend the mail route.
For this reason, Österreichische Post AG recommends sending letters and parcels as early as possible this year.
As you can see from the Post graphic, a domestic package must arrive at a post office by December 21, 2022 at the latest . Earlier times apply to shipping worldwide and to other EU countries.
