Thank you for your numerous applications, the search is over!

Welthonig launched in May 2016. Initially, we had a store in Vienna's city center and also had stands at selected markets. We didn't have a dedicated online presence or social media presence. And it wasn't even important to us at the start.

Welthonig is looking for a Social Media Manager

But by March 2020, with the onset of the COVID pandemic, it became clear that we couldn't survive without an online business. For this reason, we set up a webshop and started posting on social media channels.

At the time, it wasn't clear whether it would be a success or not. Today we know that it is indeed a success story. Almost 5,000 online orders have been received, a large portion of which were generated through social networks. Without these sales, the small Welthonig business would not be viable.

Now we'd like to extend an invitation and begin the search for a freelancer. This person will be responsible for continuing our social media journey. This includes building and maintaining a community and managing social media channels. We want to give the social media manager free rein in this regard.

However, the following key points are important to us:

  • the applicant has experience in dealing with social media channels
  • the applicant works on a case-by-case basis, independently and from home
  • The applicant uses his/her own tools (mobile phone, camera, laptop, or similar) to create and distribute videos, reels, stories, and postings
  • The applicant receives a flat rate of EUR 150.00 per day worked
  • the employment relationship is initially limited to 3 months
  • the applicant is not an agency, a company and/or its employee
