The dandelion is a so-called early bloomer, i.e. a plant that begins to bloom early in the year and provides nectar and pollen to the bees. An area with large dandelion deposits is in the Allgäu, near the Austrian border. The gently rising slopes and alpine meadows in Upper Bavaria are ideal for dandelions.
Dandelion honey is characterized by its yellow color and creamy to firm consistency, as well as a typical, floral aroma. This honey is ideal as a breakfast spread for the whole family. Children also love the creamy consistency. With or without butter underneath is entirely up to you.
500 g dandelion honey at EUR 13.90 each; Basic price 1 kg = EUR 27.80
