Dark, viscous avocado honey from Mexico. Avocado trees depend on cross-pollination - especially from wild and honey bees. The avocado honey is almost black, with a very chewy consistency and only moderately sweet taste. The scent and aroma of honey cannot be compared to any other honey. The taste is most reminiscent of Powidl (German: plum jam). Avocado honey is a rarely offered honey and a real enrichment at the breakfast table.
