The fair trade ingredients for the peanut butter come from Egypt. The name is misleading as it doesn't contain butter. The manufacturer limits the ingredients to a creamy peanut paste (must) with 10% honey and salt.
This makes the peanut butter particularly tender and has a wonderfully nutty taste. It is a great alternative to conventional spreads. We recommend a layer of butter under the peanut butter, because the buttery taste perfectly complements the nut treat!
