This Greek oregano comes from the nomadic Mouriki beekeeping family. These wandering beekeepers manage 2,500 colonies in Greece and commute with their bees between the mainland and the Aegean islands to perform pollination work. In return, the beekeeper receives top-quality honey and some of the herbs in organic quality.
Greek oregano is known far and wide for its intense aroma. In Greece, it is a staple in virtually every dish. Meat, salad, pizza, and vegetables are unimaginable without oregano.
