This raspberry honey comes directly from the Feldt beekeeping company in Germany, without any middlemen. The apiary is located in North Rhine-Westphalia, in a forest area that suffered massive clear-cutting due to Hurricane Kyriel. And the raspberry is one of the first shrubs to be able to take advantage of this clear-cutting.
Despite all the drama surrounding the hurricane, we are pleased that the bees can visit wild raspberries and are not dependent on over-fertilized cultivated varieties. The honey itself is mild but sweet with a very delicate berry aroma.
