Single-variety almond blossom honey from Spain. This is a so-called pollination honey, meaning it's produced when bees pollinate the blossoms on almond trees. Without pollination by these insects, there would be no fruit. Almond honey is very popular in Spain, but relatively unknown in Central Europe.
This honey releases its aroma as soon as the jar is opened. As a blossom honey, it can be described as sweet, and its almond flavor isn't immediately apparent. Only in the aftertaste do the almond and vanilla aromas become truly pronounced. This honey is a wonderful breakfast honey for the whole family.
