Rapeseed honey is therefore one of the first types of honey to be harvested by beekeepers in the year. Its consistency ranges from delicate and creamy to firm and it is a fantastic spread for the whole family. Connoisseurs also appreciate that it does not run down pastries or bread and is wonderful to spread on.
Rapeseed cream honey is a typical honey from Central and Northern Europe. From Italy onwards, this cream honey is rather unknown. The reason for this is the higher temperatures in the south, which make it impossible to stir the honey into a creamy consistency.
