The beekeeper looks after his bees in the densely forested area of the Hochschwab . This region is a water spring protection area owned by the city of Vienna. Since 1910, drinking water has been transported from the Hochschwab to Vienna using the second Vienna spring pipeline . This is a route of around 180 km.
The bees can also produce a very clear and dark organic forest honey far away from industry, agriculture and traffic, which is used in top-class gastronomy, among other places.
