August 6, 2025: Fresh honey harvest from Immer delivered ! Mild and light alpine rose honey from the remote Ötztal Valley in Tyrol. The apiaries are located at 1,800 to 2,000 meters above sea level near the Kleinhorlach Alp (see photos). In keeping with the local vegetation, alpine roses and mountain herbs predominate. The small apiary consists of Immer and his brother. After the snow melts in May, the bees are brought to the alpine pastures, and depending on the weather, this rare honey is harvested in midsummer. Caring for bees in the high mountains requires a great deal of strength and energy, with comparatively low harvest yields, making this alpine rose honey rare and precious.
500 g honey á 18.90 EUR; basic price 1 kg = 37.80 EUR
