The honeycombs were not incubated by the bees (i.e. 100% without larvae , so-called virgin honeycombs). The entire portion including wax can be chewed and eaten. The honeycombs are provided by different beekeepers (depending on who can supply something). We sell the honeycombs at a fixed unit price .

These are natural honeycombs without a middle wall and without wiring. This means a higher risk of breakage during shipping, so natural honeycomb should only be picked up in person from the store. Only affects honeycomb middle walls: In order to be able to ship the honeycombs more easily, beekeepers leave the transport lock in the frame. This is a wire that is pulled through the honeycomb from left to right and stabilizes it. In order to cut and portion the honeycomb, you have to pull out the wire with flat-nose pliers or another tool. If you don't want to do this yourself, we can do it for you when you order. Simply leave a comment during checkout , something like this: “please remove wire”.
